Fine Art Photography

Mary Kathryn Wimberly is a Texas based fine art photographer, instructor, and commercial photographer. Her work has been shown nationally and internationally in group and solo exhibitions. She holds a BFA from the University of North Texas and an MFA from Texas Woman’s University.

Wimberly works in alternative photographic processes, photographic transfers, and book arts. Themes in her work revolve around issues of nature and experience. Her current body of work explores visual interpretation of biblical parables and references to cultivation. This work is in flux with the recent relocation to the desert landscapes of West Texas.
